Deerwood Bank Promotes Kaycee Cocking and Heidi Holtz to Retail Leader Roles 

Deerwood Bank is pleased to announce updated roles for its retail leadership team, with Kaycee Cocking stepping into the position of Retail Leader – Northern Market and Heidi Holtz serving as Retail Leader – Central Market. These changes are designed to strengthen leadership focus across markets and allow for increased attention on staff development, operational efficiencies, and community partnerships.  

Blackduck, MN – Kaycee Cocking brings nearly 12 years of banking experience, all within Deerwood Bank, where she has held roles including Teller, Personal Banker, Commercial Lending Assistant, Retail Manager, and now Market Leader. Throughout her career, she has gained hands-on experience across multiple areas of retail banking, building a strong foundation in both customer service and operational processes while supporting team development along the way. 

Her well-rounded background provides a strong understanding of both daily operations and customer needs, along with experience supporting system conversions, acquisitions, and process improvements. A Brainerd native now based in northern Minnesota, Kaycee is known for her big-picture thinking, ability to identify efficiencies, and passion for helping others grow professionally.  

Brainerd, MN – Heidi Holtz brings more than 13 years of experience with the organization, having advanced from teller to Retail Manager and most recently Central Market Leader. Over that time, she has built strong experience in leading retail teams, supporting day-to-day operations, and driving consistency across locations while maintaining a focus on both staff and customer experience.  

She has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, think strategically, and drive continuous improvement. Based in the Brainerd area, Heidi is passionate about developing her team, enhancing the customer experience, and maintaining strong connections within the communities she serves.
