Michael Frey Hired as Vice President of Business Banking

Waite Park, MN – Deerwood Bank proudly announces the appointment of Michael Frey as Vice President of Business Banking for its Waite Park location.

With over 25 years in banking, Frey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Deerwood Bank Business Banking team. In his new role as VP of Business Banking, he will assist customers with business banking services and financing needs, as well as analyze financial statements and underwrite loans.

A native of Truman, MN, Frey graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics, along with a minor in Ag-Business. In his new role, Frey is eager to leverage Deerwood’s community relationships and simple banking approach to help support and grow businesses throughout the central Minnesota community.

Frey’s appointment as VP Business Banking at the Waite Park branch underscores Deerwood Bank’s dedication to providing exceptional financial services to the entire central Minnesota community. His deep roots in the community and industry knowledge position him to contribute significantly to the bank’s ongoing success.

When he’s not at the bank, Frey loves to spend time with his family and friends at his cabin in northern Minnesota, where he enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing. He also serves on the Data Analytics Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota.
