Deerwood Bank Welcomes Daniel Riley as Real Estate Lender in St. Michael

St. Michael, MN – Deerwood Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Riley as Real Estate Lender at its St. Michael location. With a strong background in residential lending and a passion for helping first-time homebuyers, Riley brings valuable experience, local market knowledge, and a relationship-focused approach to Deerwood Bank’s growing mortgage team. 

Originally from Elk River, Minnesota, Daniel is a graduate of Elk River High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Professional Selling from Winona State University. 

Throughout his career, Daniel has held a variety of roles in the lending industry, including Loan Servicing Representative, Credit Analyst Intern, Mortgage Loan Processor, and now Real Estate Lender. His specialty is residential purchase lending, with a particular passion for helping first-time homebuyers confidently navigate the homebuying process. 

What sets Daniel apart is his commitment to building genuine relationships with clients and understanding their goals from the start. Having grown up in the St. Michael area, he brings both personal and professional insight into the local market and takes pride in walking alongside borrowers every step of the way.

The leadership, team, and opportunity to serve a community I once grew up in made Deerwood feel like the perfect fit for this next step in my career.”

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and both of their families, whether that means game nights, pickleball, or heading to the lake. He is also a passionate soccer fan, enjoys following Minnesota sports teams, and loves fishing at the family cabin year-round.
