About the Position
Deerwood Bank is looking to hire a BSA Specialist who would be responsible for performing job functions that ensure the Bank is in full compliance with regulations and regulatory guidance related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the USA PATRIOT Act and all related and implementing regulations. In addition, the BSA Analyst provides support to the Internal Audit and Compliance functions, such as by performing documented audit procedures or by performing logistical or support functions for the Bank’s contracted audit and compliance review partners or regulatory examination teams.
About You
We seek to find a highly motivated and organized individual who is well-versed in bank policies and procedures as well as all banking regulations.
About Your Experience
- High school diploma is required. Associates or Bachelors degree with focus in banking, accounting or criminal law is preferred in the absence of sufficient relevant work experience.
- Must have 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in banking, with a solid understanding of the delivery channels, account opening best practices, and transaction types commonly observed in a community bank.
- Relevant professional certification is desired, such as CAMS designations.
